The city
Darmstadt is more than just a city of science - it is also a city of students. The city is home to two universities of applied sciences as well as a technical university.
Darmstadt is also one of very cities to have an element named after it on the chemical period table - Darmstadtium, discovered in 1994.
There is plenty to discover and experience in and around Darmstadt: Frankfurt, the Bergstraße route, Heidelberg and much more. Impressions of and information about Darmstadt are available here: City of Darmstadt.
